As the quest to close the doors of Orpheus continued on, so did life at Camp half-blood. Most of the Hephaestus cabin had been busy working on the Argo II, Hypnos was on their fifth nap of the day, and everyone else? They were all preparing for Capture the Flag later on in the evening. As usual, the tradition of capture the flag was being upheld with the hunters of Artemis visiting the camp. While their lieutenant was off on a quest they were eager to showcase what they believed were their superior skills. Etana Pali and Chiron were busy in conversation on the porch of the big house, Rachel Elizabeth Dare approaching them from the distance. Dimitri was going over some battle strategies with campers that were willing to take his advice over in the arena. Everything seemed normal but once Rachel and Chiron exchanged a few words the centaur began to look worried. It was then the day took a very different turn, one that wouldn't have been expected so soon from the previous battle. It seemed like every shadow on the grounds was coming alive, a feat far more impressive than the camp's own son of Hades could produce. The dark portals opened, as a variety of warriors and monsters poured out from them. The monsters consisted of the more humanoid variety; Almost a dozen empousai, half a dozen Dracaenae, two Gegenees, and two dozen enemy half-bloods, some marching in ready to fight and others charging in on the backs of hellhounds. Perhaps the most disturbing; a few of them had joined them from the cabins of the camp itself. They drew their weapons, as one of the Demi-Gods approached the Big House, scroll in hand. He looked about eighteen, expression rigid but lost. Just one of the Roman demi-gods that had been left for dead after failing his trials with Lupa. He unraveled the sheet, clearing his throat to read the scripted words out loud. "In the name of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, the newly restored Legio prima Italica hereby claim Camp Half-Blood for our great Emperor. We now offer its occupants to surrender and join the Legion or to evacuate quickly. Failure to do either will result in excruciating pain and death." He finished the last bit like it was the same as saying 'love and peace'. He rolled up the scroll, "Assuming dying is an option otherwise, just the repetition of excruciating pain."
Chiron climbed out of his wheel chair looking troubled. Still, he stood tall with his demi-god colleagues. Etana kept a cool demeanor her lips parting for only the centaur and Rachel to hear, "Nero? Is it a coincidence?" Rachel shook her head tentatively. She had just gotten a blurred vision of this scene just moments before she rushed to speak with them. Dimitri stood at the base of the Big House, both of his swords drawn. One of imperial gold, the other celestial bronze. "And why doesn't your Emperor speak for himself?" He and a few of the Ares and Athena kids kept their ground, ready to attack in case they needed to. While the rest of the camp was gathering their forces. Those who were able to spread the word of what was going on (though it was hard to miss it) did. They gathered weapons and prepared the pegasi, even the nymphs were preparing to defend their forest. In the distance the dragon, Peleus, awoke from his slumber, nostrals flaring and sparks of flames erupting from his opened mouth, ready to defend Thalia's tree and the Golden Fleece. "Why should I?" For one of the few times since his return, Nero's tone was calm and confident. And why shouldn't he be? He had claimed to be another camper, another Greek, he made worthy alliances and gained an army that would soon grow even more impressive. The demi-Titan had emerged from the nearest patch of woods, fully armed with his sword, his armor, and even a bow with a quiver full of arrows. He strut forward, his army clearing a path so that he could continue on without delay. His hair had been trimmed, a laurel crown sitting on his head. His eyes were flickering with their usual, wild demeanor as he stopped beside his announcer.
He never questioned his ability to pull this all off. He had raised some suspicion yes, but ultimately he had gotten the best of them. Two of the big three spawns were out of the picture, distracted by their quest As far as he knew, all he'd have to worry about were Jason Grace and Sora Keravnos. Then again, this mission wasn't as much about invading the camp as it was distracting them as well. This whole ordeal was only a miniscule piece to the grand scheme. His orders were clear; delay the building of the ship. Well, this was as good of a delay as any.
"But I'll humor you, none the less, Son of Heracles." His eyes narrowed, a grungy chuckle escaping his frame. "So here I am, speaking for myself, surprised?" At this point, he was addressing his entire audience. "You might be confused, I can understand that." He unsheathed his sword, it wasn't the one he was usually seen with at the camp. This one was a two feet long, gladius made of pure-imperial gold. He examined the blade, as if he was looking at it for the first time in a long time. "But as my soldier stated, I'm here to claim the Camp not only for myself but my patrons as well. Gaea and Hyperion will be most pleased if you all come to your senses and realize it's better to join us than fight us." He didn't lower his weapon but still managed a shrug. "But I know how you all are, fight for justice or pride or what have you. But I'm a man of honor... sometimes. I'll give you...what? Five minutes? Surrender or we burn this place to the ground."

The twins were not surprised by the attack and smiled at each other with calm, cool, and collected expressions while the rest of the camp turned into panic and chaos. They had known for a while now that it was coming, once they figured out who Nero really was. For the past week the two girls had been going around camp questioning and planting the seed of doubt in many of the camper’s heads. Some were strong willed in their faith in camp and the Olympians, but others were easily persuaded into thinking twice about whose side they were really on. They weren’t necessarily recruiting for Nero, but they did want to know who’d join his cause. Their father was a Titan so their personal alliance was with him. which means Nero…at the moment.
“Whoa it has been a minuet since we have been in combat sis” Chloe smirked and pulled out her imperial gold blade. “You know I have always been flower child at heart” Claire pulled out a black whip, with imperial gold spikes on the end, “But it totally throws me back to the old days at Camp Jupiter.” She smiled.
Nero wasn’t the only one who had deceived the campers into thinking they were normal Greek demi-gods. As children of a Titan they knew they were a little stronger then these Olympian demigods, and the fact they are roman born made them more disciplined and militaristic then most would think. It was survival of the fittest in camp Jupiter, not this cozy “Do your best” nonsense. It blew their mind on how easy life was here.
They did take slight delight in the shocked faces of the campers and especially Chiron as the army poured into camp. They both looked over at Nero once he was done with his introduction. They knew the two thorns in his side would be the two kids of Zeus, but they had a plan up their sleeves for the young Jason… after all he is a roman.
“I hope they chose to fight” Chloe giggled. “Why does he always have to burn things?” Claire questioned, and then shrugged it off because they both knew the answer to their questions.

It was just another day of working for Leo Valdez. He had just finished his fourth energy drink of the day. On top of that and the eight cups of coffee in the morning? He was wired. Grease and dirt covered his face and whatever skin that was exposed on his arms from the camp t-shirt he was wearing(since he had ripped the sleeves of it just earlier due to a freak drill accident--don't ask). He ran through the maze of work tables that were scattered throughout bunker nine. His arms were failing and he felt like his heart was about to push out of his chest from the sudden burst of energy. He stopped, panting, when he found Nyssa. "Problem," he took a moment to inhale deeply before the words began to spill out of his mouth in an almost inaudible way. Luckily, his siblings had been used to it by now. She raised a quizzical brow. "I need help, that prototype propulsion system," he pointed over his shoulder with his thumb. "Long story short, there's a hole as big as Chiron rear end and I can't shut it off with just two hands. We've got about five minutes before-" BOOM. The explosion echoed against the walls of the bunker. Nothing that could have caused much of a freak accident but it did manage to fill up the place with a decent amount of smoke. Leo coughed, then slumped his shoulder sounding defeating. "Never mind. I'll just start over."
He was just about to head back to his work station when all of a sudden the alarms in the bunker sounded. Everyone was just about ready to panic when Leo cupped his hands over his mouth, "Code armadillo! Stations. Ready my eyes!" He was doing his best to stay calm. Perhaps the alarms were tripped? Or someone sounded them on accident? He rushed over to the surveillance cameras, his siblings all wearing dreary expressions at what they saw on the screens. An Army had invaded and even the area of their bunker was surrounded. "How are we suppose to get reinforcements with them all over us?" Jake Mason asked. The answer made Leo's shoulders feel heavy, like he himself were bearing the weight of the sky. "For now? We're on our own, like it or not. " He closed his eyes and collected his thoughts. When he opened them he grinned, most of it was acting because inside he was scared and with good reason. He wasn't molded to be a leader but when it came to the bunker? His cabin? It was a responsibility he had to uphold. There was no way he was going to let something else happen to Festus, even if he was only just a head for now. "So let's get ready to whip some monster butt. Jake, whatever Automatons that are able, get them online. Nyssa, weapons online. Harley, secure what we have for the ship. Everyone else, get suited up and let's get code armadillo running. Once they begin to attack we defend the bunker." Everyone scattered but something about leaving at such a serious note irked the demi-god. "Let's make this quick! There's a new episode of The Big Bang Theory and I want to learn about Flags," there. That was better.
Within minutes an array of weapons sprouted from the ground of the underground bunker, fully loaded celestial bronze arrows, bullets, you name it. A small army of Automatons were online, waiting for Jake Mason to enter their orders in from the main computer. Leo had summoned a large, celestial bronze, hammer from his tool belt and kept his eyes on the computer screens. They would wait, wait for them to make the first move, to see what would happen at the big house. And when something happened they would be ready.

It’s Friday and everyone knows what that means, capture the flag. A nice bonus for the camp is that since Thalia is on the quest the hunters are staying in camp and participating as well. Violet should have been preparing for the capture the flag game, But Pollux was also supposed to meet her in the cabin 30 minutes ago, so they could do their rounds in the strawberry fields and discuss a game plan. She is usually only used as bait or to set up a trap so it’s not really much fighting or discussion needed. She plopped onto her bed and sharpened her daggers while listening to music on her I-pod to feel like she was doing a little something useful.
Things were kind of boring at the moment for her in camp because Leo was busy in the Hephaestus cabin bunker working on the Argo II, Piper had her hands full keeping the peace with her cabin, Johnathan was on the quest, Calypso was more than likely someplace training and Pollux was doing his own thing. He’s lucky they are the only two people in this cabin, so he doesn’t have to do much as the cabin leader. Sadly those where the only people Violet really bothered to call her friends ,and most of them started very recently like Leo, Piper, and Calypso. If she had to choose though she’d say that her best friends were Johnathan and Leo. Everyone else she’s talked to is on more of an acquaintance level in her head. This suited her just fine though she didn’t need a lot of friends, in fact the fewer the less she felt obligated to people.
She was starting to fall asleep until Pollux came bashing through the cabin door. He was so zoned in that he almost didn’t see her sitting on the bed, as he grabbed his sword. This was a sight that was truly rare to see of him, so amazingly calm, but at the same time she had the feeling something was wrong he was worried. He turned and spotted her, “Come on the camp is under attack!” He was stern and serious as he grabbed her and pulled her out of the bed. Once he had all his things he ran back out the door so fast you’d think he was a child of Hermes. The moment those words left his lips she knew what to do and instantly go into battle mode. This is what they train round the clock for, to protect this camp and themselves. She grabbed her dagger and shield quickly while heading out the door herself following Pollux as best she could.
She was separated by the army of shadows that were popping up like flies all around her. Even more shocking was the few campers fighting other campers in the distance. Violet didn’t even know who the camp was fighting let alone what “side” people were on. This was crazy, but one thing was for sure no one was going to get the best of her. She got in her battle stance prepared for the shadow army to attack.

Sora had spent the last few hours outside the Hunters' cabin, talking and laughing with her old friends whom she rarely saw. Yet despite that - the conversation between Sora and the group ran smoothly like a flowing river. They discussed everything from battle techniques and the latest hunts to Sora's new life at Camp Half-Blood. Sitting with the group, Sora knew she would always be loyal to them - they were her family. Of course things had been slightly complicated after she left, but the Hunters eventually understood it was not for a boy but for life itself. They understood that she would always be a Huntress at heart; her loyalty for Artemis set and stone.
Suddenly out of the corner of her eyes, Sora noticed a shadow glimmer and began to change into a form. With wide eyes, the demi-god glanced towards the Hunters who seemed to be in just as much shock; however, it didn't last much longer than a few seconds. The group hurried into the cabin in the most organized fashion they could under the current circumstances; each scrambling around for their armor and weapons. Sora, on the other hand, stood outside. Facing the shadowy figures that emerged. She watched in horror as hellhounds, demi-gods, and monsters alike poured out of the portals, and quickly surrounded the camp. There were only two choices; run or fight. Sora, of course, chose fight. Her fingertips brushed across the lightning-bolt shaped charm, and watched as the charm instantly shifted into the form of a sword. Her right hand clutched the sword tightly while she stood her ground in front of the cabin. Was it sad that she was more loyal to her half-sister than her own father? Possibly.
No, what was truly sad was the fact that some of the demi-gods she knew, and had trusted were now siding with the invaders. Sora's brow furrowed in confusion and frustration. Who were these people? What did they want with Camp Half-Blood? Sora's eyes shifted towards the cabin's door as the Hunters exited - each wearing thick leather-plated armor, and a variety of different weapons in their hands. Some wielded only their bows while others held swords or daggers. A small smile flashed across the demi-gods lips. "They don't stand a chance," she whispered to her allies before shifting her eyes back to the intruders; if only she truly believed what she had said. Their army seemed much larger than Camp Half-Blood's. Though it didn't surprise her. They had monsters and who knows how many demi-gods. Did they even stand a chance?

The sirens blared throughout the camp, signaling the approach of an attack. Piper had been planning to bug her two best friends today, Leo and Jason, but those plans were immediately erased as she grabbed her armor, and Katropris from under her pillow, where she liked to keep it close. Several of her cabin members were still in shock from the sirens going off. "Guys come on, get your battle faces on. We need to defend the camp. That didn't sound like a false alarm either." she told them, tossing a random sword to Mitchell. Lacy grabbed her gear from under her bed. Good thing today was capture the flag or all their equipment would have been in the shed.
The rest of the camp members were probably outside somewhere, and Piper hoped they were safe. Piper along with Lacy and Mitchell exited the cabin in hopes of finding their other halfsiblings but with all that was going on that might have to wait till the battle was over. Monsters were pouring in from all sides, demi-gods from within the camp were joining the other side. It didn't look good. A bitter taste entered Piper's mouth, and she shook her head in disbelief. "What do we do?" Lacy whispered from behind her. "We fight. That's all we can do. This is our camp, and we gotta show these guys, no one messes with Camp Half-Blood." Piper answered back.
"Good show, Piper." a voice answered from their left. Piper turned to see Drew and two of the rogue demi-gods that had joined the opposing side. "We all know who you are going to fight for, but does that mean you have to let the young ones die. You can't protect them." Drew continued on with a smirk. "See we're the smart ones, we joined the right side. I'll be happy to see you destroyed McLean. See you on the battlefield." she said with a smirk.
Piper cursed under her breath. "Move it, we got to get to the Big House, better advantage from there, plus Drew will be wherever the leader is, and if I have to I'll take care of her traitorous butt myself." she told Lacy and Mitchell who she gently shoved in the direction of the big house.

The morning had been peacefull. I'd even slept in for the first time in I don't know how long. As I lay in bed I heard a knock at the cabin door. Still half asleep I called for the person to come in. There was a burst of light and Piper stood in the doorway. Hastily I sat up as she casually stode over to my bed side. She smiled and leaned over me. I sat back up against the wall and she luaghed,"Whats wrong? Are you afraid of me?"
I was confused. Maybe this was a dream maybe it wasn't real. I felt guilty for even having dreamed it but, at least it wasn't of those doomsday dreams I was always having. So I relaxed and began to enjoy what I thought to be a repreive. I shook my head lightly with a smirk and retorted,"You know its against the rules..."
She leaned closer to me and put her head against my chest. Her hand silently slipping down the side of her leg without my notice and for a moment I swore I could smell pine and cinnamon. Then it happened, I noticed a scar on her right arm that shouldn't have been there. Unfortunately, she noticed it to and tried to stabb me with the knife sh'ed drawn while I was distracted. I rolled to the left and fell off the bed as the knife plunged into the pillow where my head had been. I looked up in shock to see a pair of red eyes glaring at me. She pulled the knife back and groweld,"Whats the matter lover boy? Isnt that what you wanted?!"
She lept at me and brought me to the floor. My weapons were standing next to my bunk and were completely useless now. Thank good the legion had trained us in unarmed combat or I would have been a gonner. She salivated over me with her fangs bared like a dog about to get a treat. I grabbed her wrist with my hand and smashed her forearm. She lost her balance and the knife but it didn't slow her. She just kept coming. Then I locked eye with my grimacing father. He seemed to say,"Do not fail me!"
Really inspiring right? Well it helped. Turns out I was more frightened of him then I was this monster. I found new strength and kicked her to the other side of the room. We both rose slowly. As I rose I picked up her knife and to my dissapointment she picked up my sword. I staggered back for a second and she grinned. Well, it was a do or die moment so I said a silent prayer in my head and whipped the knife at her.
My prayer must have been answered because I was sprayed with yellow dust and my gladius fell to the floor. I looked up and mouthed thanks, then I picked up my sword and ran out to the towards the big house. I showed up with my clothes torn to see our traitor issuing demands. I crackled with electricity burning what little of my shirt remained. "Nero Take your things and leave now and I wont kill you for what you've done!"

Post by Malcolm Johnson on Apr 30, 2012 16:01:31 GMT -5
Malcolm was completely pumped for Capture the Flag, the Athena cabin always did good at the group game, after all they were master strategists, not many people could out maneuver them, although their current opponents, the Hunters of Artemis, made for good competition. He was sitting out on the front steps of Cabin Six, working on his battle plan for the night when everything changed. Suddenly there were shadows everywhere leaving Malcolm to first believe that Nico was up to something, only to realize that the Son of Hades was probably far away from Camp Half-Blood. That was when he saw the army come into view.
Malcolm’s brain began racing thinking of battle plans but on the outside he stayed calm and collected. He knocked five times on the door to Cabin Six, which was there signal to prepare for battle. He never went anywhere without his weapons and his armor was only off when he was sleeping, he was more than ready for this. Part of Malcolm had been waiting for this to happen for years. He wanted another fight; he had been restless and was now ready to go. He was took the ring off his finger as it formed a sword in his hands as he walked to the big house remembering the last time he had prepared for a fight. They had won the Battle of Manhattan and could certainly defend their own camp.
As he got closer to the big house, Malcolm was shocked to see some of his fellow campers join the army across from him. People he had considered friends now stood on the opposing side. But the Son of Athena wouldn’t let that stop him from doing his duty to his Mother, his camp and his friends he had left. He watched the exchanged go on and said nothing; this was Malcolm’s least favorite part of every battle. Everyone knew that no one was going to surrender. Surrendering for Camp Half-Blood meant turning our backs on Olympus and everything that we have already worked for. Surrendering for the opposing meant certain death, especially if Gaea was their patron. This part didn’t matter to Malcolm, every fiber of his being was itching to start the fight, but he would kick himself in the head if he just jumped at it now. The best thing for Camp Half-Blood was to make their enemies make the first move. After all, we had home field advantage, even if some of the fellow campers had turned their back on camp, they no longer had the resources Camp Half-Blood gave them.

The Roman’s features brightened at the sight of Jason Grace’s reaction. The smile that had formed was almost inhumane, “Kill? Ah, that’s the Roman spirit isn’t it? Not many of these Greeks would understand that would they?” He swung his sword around like a toy, as if keeping still at this moment would break his concentration—ironically. “To kill another demi-god I mean. But you and I—we know it’s a necessary act at times. “ He spat on the ground and a line from his own began to advance slowly towards those at the big house, spears drawn.
“But if you won’t surrender, fine. We’ll burn down your cabins and take your camp by force. My Legion, Legio prima Italica. Romans and Greeks. “ He studied Jason, acknowledging him as a worthy advisory with a quick look of respect before it twisted into one of warning. “What? don’t recognize some of these?” he gestured to a few of fighters, some of them had the same burned tattoo on their arms like Jason and others just gave off that same stern air that Roman’s tended to give off.
“Well,” he feigned a yawn. “I’m bored now. So let’s get this over with.” He raised his free hand index and thumb pressed together. “Divide and conquer , initiate plan Break Deep.” He snapped his fingers. The line of soldiers and monster in the back scrabbled through another line of Campers, fighting and trying to make their way towards Bunker 9 with the others. The rest, attacked the camp.

In a blink of an eye, the army attacked. Leo’s chocolate hues studied the screens a look of panic plaguing his face. “They’re distracting the others,” he stated with annoyance. He let out a grunt and gripped his hammer more tightly. “They’re trying to make it so we don’t get reinforcements. They want the Argo.” He could feel the temperature inside him rise. If he didn’t get out of there soon he was sure to set the entire bunker on fire. “What do we do?” Jake asked from behind him. “Watch my back—hold Plan Armadillo. And cover me via online weapons. “ He could already see the look of protest in Jake’s eyes. “I don’t want anyone in the battlefield if we can help it. I have a feeling—if they break Armadillo—we’ll need everyone in top condition to hold the bunker ourselves.”
This was going to be okay, right? He had faced Khione on his own—though Piper and Jason were technically in the same area during that fight. But he had his siblings, that mattered too. And he needed to protect the Argo, protect Festus. He looked up at the metal double doors before him, a heavy sigh escaping him. “If you wanna help me out Dad, I’m totally okay with it.” The doors opened and swung his hammer over his shoulder. He took of in a run, igniting instantly into a blaze the moment he exited the bunker, the doors closing shut behind him.
He could hear the sounds of the automatons fighting against monsters and demi-gods and the sounds of weapons firing from the bunker itself. He threw his hammer right into the face of an oncoming dracaenae as he dodged the attack of an empousai. “Whoa! Watch it lady, I’m hammering here!” The Dracaenae dissolved and already he could see the golden vapors coming together again. “Aye! Mi Dioses!” he picked up the hammer and began to swing it around, spreading the monster particles far away from each other. It would only delay it from reforming but it was all he could think to do. He turned from where he was and almost met the talons of another empousai but one of the guns automatons had sliced it with it’s sword. “Thanks Jake!” He called out as he pulled another hammer from his tool belt. “Looks look I’m on over time.” Fire engulfed him, and ran deeper into the battle—knocking down as many monsters and demi-gods as he could with the assistance of his cabin mates, via automated weapons.

Violet didn’t have to wait long for the army to attack. She slashed through the crowd of campers and soldiers alike. Times like these she was grateful for her disconnect. She had no problem or guilt in cutting down campers who raised their sword against her. The odd thing was only campers fought her after a moment. The shadow soldiers merely went around her or in a few cases through her. She looked confused. Then moments later even the campers pulled back on her. She grabbed one and pinned the poor girl to the ground with her blade to her neck threatening decapitation.
“What’s going on, who are you fighting for, and why are you avoiding me. You have five seconds to answer!” She almost hissed out at the girl. “Titan army, uh uh Nero, I don’t know we were just told not to ok, we were told not to hurt you, please let me go!” The girl was so scared she was shaking under her grasp. How can a girl so afraid of death join a rebellion of Olympus? Titan’s? Again? Who was it this time? She had so many questions, but she could already tell this girl’s answer would be limited. She picked her up by the collar then tossed her to the ground. “I suggest you think about whose side you really want to be on. I don’t think Titan’s take too kindly to weaklings” Her voice was full of venom, not to be spiteful of the girl, but as a true warning. She wasn’t one to tell her to pick sides, heck she wasn’t even really on a side. She was on the side of self-preservation. That girl in their hands would merely be a pawn and a casualty nothing more.
With that she made her way to the one person now she knew could answer all her questions, Nero. It was easy considering the loyal campers where preoccupied with the army and the army wouldn’t touch her. She just had to avoid stay blows. She had never really even spoken to Nero, why of all the people in camp did he choose to spare her life? What was he planning? She finally found him face to face with Jason. He’d just sent off more of his army to attack more of the camp. If she held any love for this camp she might have been incline to help stop them considering they clearly won’t break their command of touching her, but she didn’t and she wanted to know more she wanted the truth. Her Sai blades still ready in each hand she moved forward making a triangle between the three of them, and looked over at Nero. “I have a few questions for you”. She looked at him sternly; he wasn’t going to get away from her.

Things seemed to pass in a blur. One moment Sora and the huntresses had been preparing for fight, the next Sora was lost in the sea of invaders and allies. Her heart pounding as fought off blow after blow; doing her best to defend herself and the other hunters. Somewhere behind her she heard someone cry out in pain, her head jerked around just in time to see one of the hunters cut down by an enemy demi-god. Sora saw red for a moment, rushing towards him, sword thrusting into his shoulder once she was close enough. He cried out, slashing his own sword towards Sora -- which she easily avoided. She twisted the blade inside his shoulder causing him to cry out again then she removed the blade, and kicked the boy to the ground. Her eyes flickered towards the wounded hunter then to another close by, "Get her into the cabin! She's not safe out here!" The other nodded, of course, and lifted her friend as best she could. Sora fended off the enemy, buying them enough time to escape into the cabin. Once they were to safety, Sora turned back around, focusing on the bulk of the monster horde that seemed to be doing more damage than the enemy demi-gods. Sora rushed through the crowd, dodging past one attack after another. "Where do you think you're going, Sssssssora?" Immediately Sora lunged forward just as a large serpent-like trunk slammed down across the ground. "Ssssssoooo ssssorry to have misssssed, letssss try again...shall we?" Another swung towards Sora knocking her into a group of demi-gods. Sora grunted upon impact, eyes lifting from the ground to focus on the Dracanae that stood before her. "Great. Ya know, you dragon bit--" Sora groaned the rest out in pain as the Dracanae's trunk struck her again, this time crushing her against a tree, "--are kinda annoying..." She managed out the last bit. "Tsssssk tsssssk, ssssso rude." The trunk wrapped around Sora, squeezing her with ease. She lifted Sora closer to her, her scaly hand lightly brushing across her cheek, "Sssssuch rude language from sssssuch a pretty little girl." There was a cackle that Sora wouldn't have been able to hear if she were not so close. Sora cringed away from the touch, her body squirming in the snake woman's grip. "Release me, you wench!" The grip tightened making Sora cry out in pain. "Again, sssso rud-- " The snake woman's words were cut off as electricity coursed through her. Sora's entire body tingled as the electricity rolled off her from head to toe, sending a massive shock through the Dracanae. She screamed, releasing Sora quickly before too much damage could be done, "Why you little brat!" She shouted. Sora hit the ground with a thud, rolling away, and snatching her sword off the ground before hopping back to her feet, "How about a fair fight, eh?"
